Position Overview

Your work falls into the following categories:
Develop communications channels:
• Audit messaging, vehicles and copy to find opportunities for improvement
• Develop and implement communications based on best practices, feedback, observation and personal experience
• Create and manage team editorial calendar
• Develop and maintain a clear and consistent voice and tone across communications channels
Create and execute content – Write! Write! Write!
• Partner with internal customers, senior level included, to identify and develop compelling stories and narratives that drive action, adoption and understanding of our technology strategy and overall transformation
• Help develop creative concepts, messaging and communication toolkits for campaigns and other strategic initiatives
• Produce timely writing and content that engages, informs and inspires a variety of audiences via a variety of vehicles
• Examples of work products include (but are not limited to):
◦ Feature stories
◦ Internal thought leadership articles
◦ Blogs
◦ Intranet content development and management
Provide general communications / writing support:
• Review and edit various communications (talking points, presentations, scripts) as needed
• Partner with the communications team to provide surge writing support and guidance
• Serve as style expert and consultant
Qualifications
• Demonstrated experience translating tech speak into interesting and informative collateral and stories
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, PR, Communications, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in the communications industry, with complimentary experience (e.g., marketing, graphic design, branding) preferred
• Journalistic experience in terms of writing style and approach
• Flexibility in balancing competing priorities and quickly turning around deliverables in a continuously changing business and work environment

• Experience developing and managing multichannel communications including planning, writing, posting to SharePoint or other digital vehicles
