Position Overview

If you want the work you do to make a real impact, The Credit Analytics & Reporting team is looking for you!
The role gathers, interprets, and communicates data to support the Single Family risk management function. The position requires using analytical techniques, technical data skills, and independent judgment to perform credit analyses and generate a range of reports supporting management decisions.
Responsibilities include:
• Create and interpret reports used internally and externally to understand Freddie Mac credit risk
• Gain in-depth understanding of source data and related controls to ensure integrity of reporting and analysis
• Support ad hoc analysis, data querying and reporting needs
• After appropriate review and discussion, communicate results clearly to internal customers
• Develop and demonstrate subject matter expertise in various aspects of Single Family credit risk
• Perform research and analytics to assist in developing credit policies
• Use data mining tools to effectively and efficiently gather appropriate reporting and analysis data
• Conceptualize and implement tools and methods to evaluate risk
• Employ complex statistical analysis to derive drivers of credit risk
• Apply a consistent and mature understanding of standard risk management and controls assurance principles, theories, concepts, and techniques .
Qualifications
Requirements
• Degree in Statistics, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science or related field or equivalent experience with 2-4 years related experience
• Advanced proficiency with common data analysis and professional communication tools
• Demonstrated quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and high quality self-review of work products
• Must be able to manage multiple priorities, meet rigorous deadlines, identify and escalate issues appropriately to supervisors and management, and assimilate constructive feedback
• Must possess strong written and oral communication skills.
