Geller provides world-class finance, accounting and strategic outsourced solutions to CFO’s and other senior-level financial decision makers.
Team Lead - Enterprise Data
You will take ownership of:
• Leading FP&A function with oversight over management reporting including all expenses, headcount, allocations and the business product P&Ls (and present findings).
• Liaising with corporate FP&A on the business management group performance vs. business plans and business metrics.
• Partnering with the business to develop the annual operating budget including validating sales conversion ratios, capex, headcount, compensation and operating expenses.
• Acting as key representative of CFO team within the business and across the organization for financial data requests and ad-hoc analysis.
• Synthesizing large amounts of raw data to tell a story to business managers.
• Preparing monthly and quarterly financial information for Management discussing year to date performance against business plan and financial outlook.
• Ensuring appropriate financial controls are maintained and applied appropriately to support business growth.
• Overseeing the general ledger hierarchy for new product codes, cost centers and business areas.
• Developing processes and tools to identify automation opportunities and improve efficiency of Finance organization.
• Evaluating industry developments, market conditions, and economic news to determine financial and business impact.
• Managing a small staff of financial professionals.
We expect you to have:
• Bachelors in Accounting or Finance but not required.
• Approximately 10 to 15 years of Finance experience with at least five years in a finance role supporting a business unit.
• Experience partnering with business unit leaders and managing staff.
• Strong quantitative, financial and analytical skills.
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, written and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and execute
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills and comfortable working with large data sets and various systems.
• Experience with SAP (or applicable general ledger system), HANNA, Business Warehouse, Microsoft SharePoint.
We’d love to see:
• Knowledge of the financial industry, buy-side sell-side participants and financial asset types very helpful.
• Familiarity with the Bloomberg terminal.
