You’ll drive best-in-class digital experience design & strategy while building collaborative relationships, supporting Agile teams, and leading the overall UX team engagement for the Emerging Businesses Domain. You’re a leader of people, influencer of great user experience strategy, masterful design practitioner, and have a track record of forming high-functioning teams.
The Team
As the UX Director supporting the Emerging Businesses Domain, you will be helping the Domain carry out their mission to scan, assess & scale innovative solutions to help customers in new ways. You will provide strategic partnership and drive user experience strategy and thought-leadership as you partner with senior product and technology leaders. You’ll set the flag for how UXD works in this space, build connective tissue across the Emerging domain and across the enterprise, you’ll lead and manage a team of designers who support this Domain, roll up your sleeves to design when you need to, and inform staffing needs as things change.
The Expertise You Have
• 10 years’ experience in user experience, information architecture, digital engagement strategy, or a related field
• Strategic thinking: ability to move through ambiguity with patience while leading a team to action
• Ability to build strong, honest, trusting partnerships with cross-functional teams and sr. leadership
• Influence skills: you identify opportunities, story tell the complex with clarity, and because of your experience and authenticity, you drive positive change on mindsets, behaviors, processes, and strategy
• Expert in effectively immersing UX in an Agile environment
• Expert listening & relationship building skills paired with confident communication & presentation skills
• Obsessive about the customer experience and metric-driven outcomes
• Masterful in your design craft and hands-on experience with Sketch, InVision, Axure, Photoshop
• Experience with Design Thinking, workshop facilitation, LeanUX, and Agile

• You have the ability to easily move between multiple “altitudes of work” – stepping back to focus on the big-picture strategy, while also being able to zoom into the fine points of user experience design – understanding the interplay between them both.
• You are an inspiring and expert story teller and communicator
• You drive the UX vision for your portfolio and inspire the team towards a common goal.
