Mission
Societe Generale’s Financial Institution’s Group (FIG) is seeking a dynamic individual for a full-time internship in our New York office. As a FIG Intern, you will assist our Senior Bankers and Senior Relationship Managers in their daily activities. You will get hands-on experience serving our institutional client base while gaining a deep understanding of how a global investment bank delivers its full suite of products.
Profile
Main Accountabilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Assist the team in coordinating specific client initiatives while analyzing business potential and cross -selling opportunities
• Conduct industry-specific analysis using various resources
• Assist, develop and refine the preparation of account reviews, briefing notes and other presentations for senior management
• Gather and disseminate information from key stakeholders across the firm
• Data monitoring & Referential maintenance

Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree from a Top University/College
• A passion for learning about financial markets
• Very strong organizational skills are required
• Ability to provide creative solutions to complex problems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work a minimum of 40 hrs/wk
• Fluent English speaker
Desired
• Working towards completing MBA or a Masters degree in finance or a related field
• Knowledge of VBA
