Job Duties:
• Attract and retain top engineering talent
• Train and develop technical leaders within the team
• Represent the team to senior leadership and other groups
• Build a challenging vision and ensure you have the resources to deliver it
• Work closely with internal clients to understand their product vision, and break it down into an actionable backlog of user stories for the development team
• Liaise with appropriate individuals outside of the immediate team to get tasks completed
• Work closely with vendors to provide clients with tightly integrated solutions
• Work hands-on with the development team to prioritize, plan, and deliver software that meets client requirements
• Help customers understand our iterative development approach and focus on delivering a Minimum Viable Product through careful and deliberate prioritization
• Help innovate and iterate on agile PM processes and share learnings
• Build Sustainable solutions for Asset Management needs, specifically for Front Office Professionals
• Integration of products with existing Asset Management systems, particularly with Order Management, Accounting and Compliance systems
• Manage multiple cross functional teams
• Collaborate with Operations, Systems and Software Engineers on improving software delivery, application performance and scalability to build highly resilient systems
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field and 5 years of IT product management experience.
Experience must include:
• 5 years of experience in a leadership role managing a team
• 5 years of experience in Agile delivery
• 5 years of experience within the asset management industry
• 4 years of experience managing multiple vendor relationships
• 3 years of experience implementing and integrating Bloomberg AIM
• 2 years of experience implementing AUM tracking solutions
• Requires SCRUM certification (CSM)
