We are looking for a Content Marketing Manager to join our founding team to lead content strategy and execution across digital channels and mediums. You will report to the Head of Marketing.
Responsibilities:
•Lead the content marketing program at COIN, with a focus on value-add, relevant storytelling that attracts, inspires and engages.
•Develop a plan for how we will continuously create and maintain high quality content using the John Hancock, agency and network resources available to us.
•Oversee and contribute to the development of content development, workflow management, publication and amplification.
•Develop and maintain an editorial calendar that balances the interests of our personas, meeting our goals, communicating our vision and enhancing the SEO health of our website.
•Establish and maintain the integrity of an editorial vision and voice for COIN’s digital storytelling experiences.
•Manage our CMS platform for the blog, core website, and landing pages, including content updates, A/B testing, personalization and more.
•Serve as lead copywriter for content, as needed. Eventually hire and manage junior copywriter.
•Work closely with John Hancock marketing, design, copywriting, and analytics resources to deliver a best-in-class, end-to-end content experience.
•Manage a content budget for content development, native advertising, social amplification and content partnerships.
•Deliver on a set of aggressive KPI’s including awareness, engagement and conversion metrics.
•Initiate and manage engagements with content partners, influencers and agencies.
Experience and skills:
•5+ years of marketing experience with a specialization in content marketing and management.
•Proven track record of building or growing a content program for a for a consumer-facing brand.
•You care about making progress in sustainable initiatives, gender equality, better health, and other global impact areas that ladder up to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
•Excellent, flexible writing skills with the ability to develop a strong point of view on editorial guidelines, tone and voice.
•Superior organization and project management skills. You’re detail-oriented, always on top of things, and don’t let anything slip through the cracks.
•Strength in demonstrating performance of content programs. You’re a pro at analytics, tagging and attribution, optimizing KPI metrics and driving costs down.
•You’re a compelling storyteller, passionate about engaging and educating our audience and building a community of conscious investors who want to make a difference.
•Ambitious professional who is interested in professional development, becoming an inspiring leader in the content marketing space, and eventually growing and managing a team.
•Experience using SEO to inform content strategy. Ability to evaluate and enhance our SEO ecosystem as it applies across our owned, earned and paid strategies.
•Excellent presentation skills, with a knack for responding well to pressure and challenges.
