Job Description Summary:
Find peace, quiet and wide-open spaces at Doral Arrowwood, the premier Resort and Conference Center in Westchester County. The Front Desk Agent is to provide friendly and efficient registration, and hotel information for resort and conference guests, fellow employees and visitors.
Job Description:
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• College degree preferred.
• Two years of experience in customer service position, hotel experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Problem solving skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Check guest in and out accurately, ensuring proper credit is received, special requests are noted and fulfilled and accurate information is established.
• Provide hotel information and concierge services.
• Provide exceptional customer service with a smile and empathy.
• Complete all front desk guest transactions.
• Promote and sell special hotel programs.
• Interact with hotel staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information.
• Be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and hotel policies.
• Maintain house bank.
• Communicate all pertinent information to the Front Desk Managers and Supervisors.
• Follow set procedures on posting, charges and refunds.
• Be the Difference in alignment with our Benchmark Culture Mosaic.
Must be available to work weekends and holidays. Some evenings required. Will be scheduled according to hotel business levels. Full-time and part-time positions available.
