The Training Manager position will be responsible for both developing and delivering sales training to an expanding financial services sales team. The individual has the opportunity to optimize an existing Learning Management System (LMS) and develop effective ways to train the sales force. The ideal candidate will have superb communication skills paired with the ability to create visually appealing educational solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Designing and developing web based content that is both engaging and informative
• Converting PowerPoint storyboards into animated, interactive eLearning modules
• Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in other departments to create professional development training materials
• Interaction with sales teams and sales management to uncover needs and gaps
• Enhancement of Learning Management System
• Opportunity as lead trainer in classroom setting, as desired and appropriate.
Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
• 3 plus years of Financial Services experience and sales experience preferred
• FINRA Series 6 & 63 preferred
• Familiarity with learning technologies including: learning management systems, web delivery tools, authoring tools, and eLearning standards such as SCORM.
• Knowledge of adult learning theories and training strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Familiarity with tracking, testing, and reporting applications such as Exambuilder and Survey Money
