Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
As a member of ELOD senior leadership team partners to shape strategy and related deliverables, polices and practices to ensure operating success. Core and key capabilities include: Talent Development, Leadership and Professional Development and Team and Organizational Development. Serve as the primary point of contact and relationship management for a defined line of business (LOB); act as an expert resource and contact interacting with the LOB to ensure needs are responded to and resolved in a timely fashion. Prepare an integrated Line of business and Enterprise L&OD operational and strategic plan to formulate long-term strategies and initiatives and monitor overall results. Lead or contribute to the Community of Practice (COP) model partnering with Relationship Managers to leverage ELOD capabilities and COP expertise; enable the COP members to develop and deliver appropriate interventions and solutions to our business partners. Influence, guide, and support Talent Development/Management strategies aligned toward developing high potential talent and succession readiness, individual coaching and the design of development solutions leveraging Travelers Leader Development Framework, talent assessment, coaching, and development resources and tools. Develop, design and facilitate a comprehensive leadership and professional development strategy, programs and curricula to enhance leadership capabilities in support of Travelers leadership competency model. Strengthen organizational and team effectiveness through assessment and development and building strategic and leader capabilities. Responsible for direct management, leadership and guidance of assigned Performance Consultant Team. Act as liaison and leverage collaboration with Learning & Development. Provide strategic direction in using new, effective adult learning training methods. Direct delivery of training in most cost effective manner.

Job Summary
Partner with line of business leaders and Human Resource Generalists (HRGs) across the enterprise to leverage ELOD core capabilities and Community of Practice expertise. Lead efforts to enable the development and delivery of appropriate interventions and solutions to our business partners. Manage key initiatives, projects of enterprise-wide scope.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years of experience in Organizational Effectiveness designing and developing strategies and solutions for large, complex organizations.
Education, Work Experience & Knowledge
Education/Course of Study: College degree or equivalent work experience. Typically 10+ years experience designing and delivering leadership and organizational development strategies for large, complex organizations. Professional training credentials preferred. Thorough understanding of leadership development theories and practices and successful experience in translating theory into highly practical tools and programs. 3-5 years management/supervisory experience. Demonstrates and engages the following Human Resource competencies: Credible Activist: skilled at creating sustainable business outcomes as they link people and business dimensions with energy, insight, sensitivity, and impact. business Ally: knowledgeable in the social context or setting in which the business makes money, and the proposition of various business function. Operation Executor: credible in the operational aspects of managing people and organization including policies, administrative needs technology, shared services or outsourcing. Talent Management/Organization: Designer partners to ensure the enterprises means of talent management and organizational capabilities are aligned with strategy, integrated with each other, and working effectively and efficiently. Culture and Change Steward: help make culture happen by facilitating, partnering and coaching on how actions reflect and drive culture, weave cultural standards into practice and processes and make culture real to employees. Strategy Architect: partners in the establishment of strategy to deliver a vision. Turns strategy into practices that culminate in organizational capabilities.
