Claims Representative – Centralized Auto and Medical

Your Role on our Team
Our Claims Representatives are essential to our team, helping our customers resolve claims fast. This can be a stressful time for our customers, so we’re looking for people with a passion for helping others and problem solving skills to join our team.
We’ll provide you with in-depth, paid training so you can feel confident providing support to our customers throughout the claims process. Developing relationships with customers over the phone, you’ll adjust auto or injury claims. You’ll investigate and analyze coverage, liability, fraud and cause of injury. Along with joining a collaborative team, you’ll have ongoing coaching and development.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Centralized Auto:
• Resolve and document auto claims quickly and accurately
• Interview all involved in an accident to determine coverage and liability decisions
• Validate damage is consistent with accident report
• Collaborate with Estimators to identify suspect damages or any unrelated prior damage
Centralized Medical:
• Policy research and interpreting medical records to ensure payment accuracy
• Identify and address wage exposures on medical claims
• Review and research wage loss expenses and documentation for payment consideration
• Review and interpret policy language when receiving a subrogation demand to determine if reimbursement is owed
• Follow up with customers, attorneys and medical providers
Qualifications:
• Two or more years of college education or relevant work experience
• Work or educational experience must include:
◦ Customer service, sales and/or influencing others
◦ Fast paced and changing environment
◦ Multitasking and time management skills
◦ Effectively communicating verbally and in writing
◦ Computer skills

Training Schedule: Monday - Friday (11-12 weeks) 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Work Schedule: Centralized Auto: Required days: Monday, Friday, and Saturday plus two additional weekdays of your choice. Days off: Sunday and either Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
Scheduled hours are 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM on all work days.
Centralized Medical:
Monday thru Friday 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
