The Senior Manager HCM Systems and Process is accountable for providing leadership, planning and project management for all Human Capital Management (HCM) platforms for TCF.
This role will lead our HCM Systems and Process Team and help to drive a solutions oriented mindset and culture for the team. The leader will work closely and collaboratively with internal/external stakeholders to develop creative solutions to balance the business needs with system capabilities. This position will serve as a key driver for system optimization, recommending improved processes, policy changes, customer service improvements and innovative solutions.
Major Areas of Accountability
• Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for the HCM initiatives that balances business needs, current capabilities and recommend future changes and investments.
• Lead HCM Systems and Process Team in supporting the HCM, payroll, benefits, recruiting and compensation functions, maintaining a customer centric mindset
• Build and maintain a strong functional HCM Systems and Process Team through effective recruiting, training, coaching, team building and succession planning.
• Partner with HCM team members, business partners and IT teams to gather requirements to develop high-quality HCM solutions that take up-stream and down-stream processes into consideration.
• Understand key customer needs and proactively define solutions that meet their strategic objectives, reports and dashboards.
• Assure process documentation is created, maintained and shared appropriately.
• Lead the diagnoses and resolution of issues (end-user, business process) partnering with IT team as needed.
• Maintain HCM System data integrity by establishing and assuring compliance with audit procedures to ensure accuracy.
• Establish and monitor SLA’s and KPI’s for HCM Services team.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Technology or equivalent work experience
Required Work Experience / Skills
• 7-10 years of progressive experience in HCM systems management role working with Cloud HCM systems.
• Experience in Cloud HCM-related modules (Recruiting, Onboarding, Absence, Time-Tracking, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Talent, Performance, Learning)
• Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and project management skills
• Demonstrated experience leading a high performing team
• Demonstrated ability to influence and make sound business decisions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong Microsoft product skills
• Strong vendor relationship skills

Supervisory Responsibilities
• Perform supervisory functions, including but not limited to, making employment decisions regarding hiring, promoting, demoting and terminating, conducting performance appraisals and coaching and developing staff.
