Systems Administrator
You will take ownership of:
• The reliability, performance, recover ability, administration, and maintenance of the company’s McAfee ePO environment (including Agent, VirusScan Enterprise, Endpoint Security, & MOVE Multi-Platform)
• Day-to-day operational management and support of the McAfee software landscape (including occasional maintenance on nights and weekends)
• Full System Life Cycle maintenance and administration of the McAfee products and Servers, including installation, configuration, patching, upgrading, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Auxiliary assistance to the Systems Operation Team, when necessary
We expect you to have:
• Bachelors Degree in IT or a related technical field
• 5 years experience managing a McAfee ePO environment (namely Agent VirusScan Enterprise, Endpoint Security, & MOVE Multi-Platform)
• Working knowledge of McAfee DLP, HIPS, & Endpoint Encryption
• Strong understanding of networking and IT security concepts
• Strong Active Directory and VMware experience
• Proficiency with PowerShell and very strong automation/scripting skills
• Experience with monitoring solutions
• Experience with Disaster Recovery execution
• Current Microsoft, IT Security, and/or VMware certifications
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written skills in order to establish strong relationships
• Ability to communicate effectively and deal with internal and external customers in a friendly, empathetic, and professional manner
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
• Pleasant phone presence and ability to solve problems over phone
• High attention to detail to prevent errors when resolving problems
• Strong sense of dedication and commitment to the team
• Demonstrated ability to maintain performance and professionalism in a fast paced environment
We’d love to see:
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2013 and ActiveSync
• Mobile Device Management administration (preferably AirWatch / VMware Workspace ONE & BlackBerry UEM)
• Working knowledge of data backup and restoration, including deduplication technologies
• Understanding of Microsoft Clustering technologies
• Management of File & Print Servers
• Experience with HP Proliant Server and local storage options
• Ability to administer wide range of Microsoft and third party server products including SharePoint, Enterprise Backup software (Commvault), SolarWinds, NeverFail, ServiceNow, and Office 365
