Project Coordinator
Location: Dallas, TX
Position Summary:
The Project Coordinator is primarily responsible for assisting in the daily coordination of projects, all in support of the Regional Tax Leader for RSM’s Central Region. This individual will be involved in preparing and maintaining project plans, documentation, budgets, staffing requirements, and communicating to internal and external clients.
Responsibilities:
• Strategically manage projects and/or assignments to ensure deadlines are met
◦ Ensure the business deliverables and goals for a particular project or program are met in a timely and efficient manner
◦ Manage project or assignment risks/issues. Recognize and determine the appropriate corrective action(s) to ensure projects are delivered on time
• Liaison between National Tax Strategic Management Leader and Tax Leadership Team
• Manage complex calendar including vetting, prioritizing and providing recommendations
• Track and assist with reoccurring communications on various regional topics
• Continually assess and identify new tools deployed by the firm that can be incorporated into the job to better assist the Regional Tax Leader
• Maintains a repository of current projects, spreadsheets, presentations, charts and other various documents that are referenced frequently
Basic Qualifications:
• Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 5-8+ years of administrative or project coordination experience, ideally supporting C-Suite Executives or Managing Director-level professionals
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint); SharePoint experience preferred
• Experience working in fast-paced changing environment that shifts priorities, manages competing demands and deals with frequent changes, pressures, delay and unexpected events
• Ability to prepare presentations, including charts, graphics and tables, speaker notes & handouts, etc.
• Ability to execute duties and responsibilities independently and with minimal supervision, think critically, synthesize information from a variety of sources, work collaboratively or independently as required, prioritize effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, effectively carry out written and oral instructions
• Ability to handle sensitive and extensive confidential data
• Ability to develop best practices and process improvements to ensure effective and efficient support is provided and contribute to the overall success of the firm
