Summary
Individual contributor role that is responsible for providing expertise in support of the design and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns aligning with Brand, Retail Self-Directed and Intermediary marketing efforts.
The Marketing Specialist will leverage audience insight, data and research to measurably contribute to driving and improving marketing results.
This position participates as a team member across a variety of marketing campaigns and workstreams that engage cross-team members.
This role may lead select Go-to-Market marketing campaign tactics for the Retail-Self Directed and Intermediary audiences, which include the Thrivent financial professional.
• Develop and maintain trusted business relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to collaborate and contribute to driving brand awareness and measurable results.
• Possesses an ability to measurably help drive marketing efficiencies and effectiveness across campaigns in distinct distribution channels i.e., retail, intermediary, etc.
• Supports marketing and advertising initiatives and campaigns. This includes across digital properties, social media, search engine marketing, email marketing, print, etc.
• Supports production and delivery of relevant content across web sites, sales presentations, webinars, videos, podcasts, etc. May produce content within select campaigns and tactics.
• Provide marketing project management, coordination and time-definite implementation on multiple marketing campaigns and projects.
• Leverages market data and analytics to monitor success of marketing initiatives / campaigns and to continuously improve upon marketing results. Will conduct campaign data analyses.
• Responsible for delivering on relevant and timely tactics supporting brand positioning and measurable growth to targeted audiences via multiple communication channels i.e., web properties, digital social, print, phone, etc.
• Continuously seeks ways to leverage technology to drive more effective and impactful marketing programs and tactics and to help drive corporate CRM strategies i.e., Salesforce, etc.
Required Job Qualifications
• 3 - 5 years marketing or related experience.
• College degree in marketing or related field. Experience in a specialized area of marketing (direct marketing, e-marketing, communications, analytics, brand positioning, social networking media, etc.) and/or program management.
• Knowledge of financial services industry.
• Ability to display situational leadership, operating with a high degree of integrity and expertise.
• Excellent communication skills, project management and collaboration skills.
• Applies a development mindset that uses creativity and marketing expertise to develop new, more effective and more efficient marketing approaches.
• Demonstrated creativity and flexibility to solve problems and develop unique approaches and solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) plus an ability to learn other software programs.
