The Marketing Production Specialist oversees the execution of marketing and post-sale communication efforts. This dynamic and fast-paced role will coordinate the implementation and delivery of various vendor services and customer communications for Assurant and our clients. Marketing communications channels include: commercial print, transactional print, mail, email and SMS delivery.
Primary responsibilities:
• Distributes all post-sale customer communications (ex. forms, insurance documents), ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations governing the product.
• Determines when new communications need to be sent to customer based on client, product, and regulatory changes.
• Reviews, resolves discrepancies, and approves vendor invoices by checking them against reports.
• Negotiates production schedules with vendors to meet client needs.
• Communicates with vendor regarding project changes throughout the campaign.
• Audits vendors periodically to ensure vendor is meeting service level agreements.
• Answers client/Assurant cost questions for business CFOs and secures approvals of budgets regularly exceeding $1,000,000 monthly.
• Monitors campaigns and ensures issues are resolved quickly and successfully.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a business communications or marketing related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or two additional years of related experience.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively perform duties.
• Must continuously learn – knowledge of products, processes, procedures, legal changes affecting product and customer communications, business, marketing, company brand
• Knowledge of printing terminology and processes.
• Knowledge of digital communications including email and SMS campaigns.
• Constant attention to detail in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, professionalism, flexibility and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
