Overview
Influence and reinforce quality expectations with senior leadership across the human resource function. From a comprehensive understanding of human resource transaction, compliance, legal and quality standards, build transaction level testing methodologies and sampling strategies to ensure quality and risk mitigation standards are achieved. Take the lead in discovering and working with human resources leadership to remediate process gaps, potential non-compliant practices and quality issues. Serve as a subject matter expert and internal consultant to recommend and drive improvements in human resources processes. Work directly with audit partners to facilitate control review meetings and source documentation. Maintain SOX documentation and interactions with internal and external auditors. Develop reporting and dashboards for the human resources management team to track and monitor progress.
Job Description
• Serve as the subject matter expert and internal consultant across the function on transactional and business practice risk for human resources management
• Direct the development and ensure maintenance of quality control tests, plans and sampling strategies
• Leverage QC results to champion and drive improvements in process controls including performing root cause analysis on complex processes
• Direct and perform process reviews for the human resources function
• Maintain and refine human resources policies and procedures to improve productivity and quality and ensure controls are properly in place
• Oversee the preparation and delivery of reports and lead monthly discussions with human resources leadership and internal business partners when appropriate on QC findings and implications
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Ideal Candidate will have the following:
• Functional understanding of applicable federal and state human resource specific regulatory statutes
• Excellent writing, presentation and persuasion skills
• Ability to interface with executive management
• Well-developed interpersonal, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated project management and collaboration skills
• Ability to organize and direct the work of others
• Expert user of Microsoft Office products
