In this dynamic role, you will manage our email marketing programs for customer retention, acquisition, and customer service. You will oversee all aspects of marketing including planning, budgeting, project and vendor management, client consultation, creative direction, distribution, fulfillment, measurement, research, analysis.
You will contribute to email campaigns and strategy, manage creative agency and internal partners through email template build, copy writing, results analysis, and perform A/B testing to iterate and improve upon campaign performance. Reporting to VP Marketing Services, this is an ideal role for someone with a solid amount of email experience who is ready to take their career to the next level.
Responsibilities
• Past experience with email marketing and/or CRM lead nurturing.
• Setting reasonable objectives and campaign goals
Guiding the development of new email creatives
Understanding of copywriting, marketing automation, and web analytics.
• Excellent understanding of email marketing concepts and metrics such as Sender Score, deliverability, and sender reputation.
• Proficiency in email marketing and marketing automation technology.
• Tracking important email metrics and performance data (e.g., conversion rates, click-through rates, and open rates)
• Utilize A/B and multi-variant testing and analyze performance results to drive additional segmentations further optimizations.
• Ensuring that the finished project meets campaign goals while exceeding the industry’s best practices
Working with Legal to guarantee email creatives comply with CAN-SPAM and other regulatory standards
Improving list segmentation and developing a remarketing strategy
Developing and implementing email automation
Implement quality assurance processes to ensure accurate and on-time campaign delivery
Perform basic project management and have strong communication skills
Maintain and drive timely execution of the email calendar
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (4+ years) in digitally enabled businesses. MBA or business degree a plus.
• Prior experience with direct response initiatives leveraging content marketing, digital campaigns and offers.
• Direct response email marketing experience required.
• Ability to quickly learn new technology platforms
Experience developing briefs for internal or external creative teams
• Extremely detail oriented with teamwork skills and the ability to work across functional teams and all levels of the organization.
• Significant experience in leading cross-business initiatives is a plus.
• Experience with campaign management tools, including segmentation, development of house files, campaign creative asset development, testing, statistical significance testing, reporting, and analysis
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and communication skills
• HubSpot certification a plus
• Financial Services experience a plus
