Basic Purpose:
The Senior Marketing Manager, Product Marketing is dually responsible for product and channel marketing; specifically, they will develop the message for clients and prospects for their channel and across various strategies. This includes playing a prominent role in creating and reviewing marketing materials. The Marketing Manager must have an intimate knowledge of the investment philosophy and process of each investment product supported, Working closely with the team’s IPMs to become deeply knowledgeable of each product and they must have a keen understanding of their channel and client business needs, working closely with sales management to understand client opportunities and priorities. As a central authority on their product line and the primary marketing resource for their channel, this individual must have a strong understanding of the markets and audiences relating to their respective strategies. They must be perceived as a credible source of investment related information pertaining to their covered strategies and for the channels and firms that they cover. As a channel marketing lead, they will execute marketing plans and manage day-to-day communication within the channel.
Exhibiting strong marketing and project management skills, the Senior Marketing Manager, Product Marketing will work within a team environment where high quality execution is a priority. This role will orchestrate projects across multiple Eaton Vance departments including Sales Management, Global Relationship Managers, Portfolio Strategy Consultants, Product Management, Editorial, Design, Print/Production, Compliance/Legal, Relationship Marketing, eBusiness, Public Relations, as well as external business partners and agencies.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Work closely with sales and product colleagues to identify needs/opportunities and develop content.
• Responsible for building and maintaining selling systems for key product franchises including but not limited to sales ideas, brochures, pitch books, presentations and commentaries for all retail products and client segments.
• Support the broader retail marketing team with content for deliverables including email, direct mail and digital.
• Lead projects, document needs, set direction, facilitate creation and drive execution.
• Support channel specific distribution with communications, large conferences and meeting support.
• Manage the ongoing internal and external experience for products.
• Share ideas, solutions, processes and learning.
• Work collaboratively with marketing colleagues to influence campaign and client experience initiatives.
• Broadly communicate status, metrics and results to stakeholders.
• Seek continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the advancement of the Marketing Team by adopting best practices and adhering to high standards.

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 10+ years of experience supporting marketing solutions for financial services firms with multiple investment products and multiple distribution channels
• Proven track record of success
• Outstanding project management and written and oral communications skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• FINRA Series 7 required
