Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
Roles and responsibilities include:
• Inspires and leads agile transformation and organizational change
• Coaches and mentors Senior Leaders, Stakeholders, and key agile leaders
• Launches, stabilizes, and optimizes teams and programs using SAFe, Scrum and Kanban frameworks
• Assesses performance of teams and programs, identifies and coaches on opportunities for improvement
• Facilitates workshops and conducts training on a variety of lean-agile subjects, leveraging SAFe toolkits and internally developed content
• Contributes to development and sharing of lean-agile best practices across the Enterprise
• Provides consultancy and acts as SME on lean-agile values, principles, and leading industry practices
• Embraces, models, and fosters a culture of lean thinking

Job Summary
The Agile Transformation Coach role is a senior member of the Global Technology Services (GTS) Agile Practice, responsible for leading agile transformation efforts across the division.
This Director level role acts as a change agent to improve GTS’ effectiveness by coaching leadership, programs, and teams to facilitate lean-agile adoption and maturity across GTS. Agile practices include: Kanban, Agile, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). This includes supporting teams and the GTS division with their Lean Agile transformation, coaching key Lean principles, Agile practices & ceremonies, and supporting the GTS Agile community.
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required. 5 years of project management experience required.
Education, Work Experience & Knowledge
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
7 years of project management experience preferred.
2 years of experience managing others and/or project teams preferred.
Experience as an Agile Transformation Coach across multiple coaching engagements, or experience and mastery as an RTE or Product Manager
Minimum of five years experience working in the systems development environment with increasing levels of complexity, including supervisory experience
SAFe, Scrum or Kanban Experience required
Insurance industry knowledge preferred

• Extensive knowledge & application of Agile values, principles, and practices including SAFe, Scrum and Kanban
• Ability to inspect and adapt Agile practices to various situations
• A results-driven strategic thinker with the ability to formulate and execute on a strategy, measure and communicate impact / results, and pivot as needed
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including strong presentation skills
• Ability to be an advocate for and influence the lean agile transition
• Proven team player with the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders from senior leadership to practitioners
• Excellent interpersonal skills with proven relationship-building experience
• Ability to collaborate and work across the organization
• Experienced in leading organizational change management initiatives
• Prior experience with large, complex IT project delivery
• Strong listening skills
• Experience with Agile Central (Rally)
• Pluses include:
◦ Experience with Pivotal / XP
◦ Experience with SharePoint
◦ Involvement with lean agile organizations
◦ Change Management training and certification (e.g. AIM, etc…)
Manages team development, very active in the mentoring of members of the PM community, may have direct management responsibility of PMs. Develops both IT and Non-IT Project budgets. Manages against them.
