Job Description
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Manager of Synovus Financial Planning, supports the operations of the Synovus Financial Planning team, and supports the maintenance and administration of Synovus Asset Navigator (SAN), the financial planning and personal financial management software platform. Supports the activities of the team responsible for developing comprehensive financial plans for high net-worth clients and their families. Provides administrative, training and other support services to the users of SAN throughout the Synovus footprint
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Attains and maintains expert-level proficiency in Synovus Asset Navigator (SAN), a configured version of the eMoney Advisor platform. Maintains lists of issues, upgrades and suggestions for functional improvements to SAN. Works with vendor to track status/progress.
• Provides administrative support to the users of Synovus Asset Navigator. Manages user access including provisioning and de-provisioning users, editing of user entitlements, re-setting user credentials, and management of branch office structure.
• Maintains and updates SAN investment assumptions (i.e., capital markets assumptions, asset allocation models, Security Master file) in accordance with established procedures. Participates in cross-platform alignment of investment assumptions and risk profiling methodology.
• Supports users in the practical use of SAN. Fields "how to" questions, supports user training, maintains training resources, assists in resolving connections issues, and assists users in onboarding clients.
• Supports efforts to educate client-facing Synovus team members as to the benefits of financial planning, and to increase their engagement in SAN. Produces and distributes communications to team members as requested. Performs other duties as needed to support the team's delivery of financial planning services.
• Participates in maintenance of plan log and pipeline report. Gathers, records and analyzes data from Synovus team members to measure the business impact of financial planning and SAN use. Posts content to the Synovus Intranet as requested.
• Continues an on-going professional development plan designed to build experience, skills, and knowledge.
• Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Requirements
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Knowledge of eMoney platform, or one or more commercially prevalent comprehensive financial planning applications, such as Naviplan or MoneyGuidePro.
• Knowledge of federal income and estate tax systems as they apply to the personal financial planning process.
• Knowledge of investment, personal insurance and other financial products and services and their applications in the financial planning process.
• Knowledge of federal guidelines, rules, and standards governing the use of financial planning services.
• CFP® certification attained or in process.
• Series 7 and 63 licenses attained or in process.
