Position Overview
The Credit Analytics and Reporting team under Freddie Mac’s Single Family Division is currently seeking a Risk Analytics Senior to implement tools and methods of risk evaluation. We are seeking a confident, self-motivated, and creative professional to focus on Business Intelligence reporting.
Your work falls into four primary categories:
Projects:
•Interact with business teams and other stakeholders to understand and recommend BI solutions to meet diverse, complex business requirements
•Develop MicroStrategy reports and dashboards for daily, monthly, and quarterly reporting. Contribute and participate in reporting design and code reviews
•Model database tables to support reporting
•Prepare test cases for UAT, perform testing, and document results
Baseline:
•Run monthly SAS processes to populate datasets and move to database for reporting.
•Make modifications to SAS jobs as necessary, perform testing to ensure accuracy
•Support end-user issues and resolve in a timely manner
•Develop ad-hoc reports as necessary
Tools Analysis and Integration:
•Perform POCs to assess new technologies/capabilities
•Familiarity with semi-structured, structured and unstructured data sets (XML, JSON, etc), processing them, and integrating with MicroStrategy or other BI tools
•Integrate new tools into existing processes to improve processes
Collaboration and Leadership:
•Works under limited direction; Independently determines and develops approach to solutions
•Collaborate with team members and interact across organizational lines to meet business objectives
•Manage multiple priorities and effectively meet deadlines
Qualifications
•Degree in Statistics, Economics, Business, Computer Science or related field with 5-7 years related experience
•Typically 5+ years of experience with MicroStrategy especially Architect and dashboard/report design.
•Typically 5+ years of data analysis/ data applications development experience, with a combination of business and technical skills
•Excellent SQL programming skills and working with large volume of data
•Experience with SAS or similar languages like Python/R
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Knowledge of data modeling – Star, Snowflake, Schema on Read, Schema on Write and DW/DataMart’s
•Knowledge of best practices for developing ETL scripts
•Familiarity with full development life cycle of a reporting application project.

•Mortgage industry experience or financial / credit analysis
•Familiarity with CDW / SFDM – Freddie Mac systems
•Detail oriented and excellent organization skills
•3+ years of SQL programming experience
•3+ years of SAS programming experience or similar tool
