Role Value Proposition: The Simplified Customer Communication (SCC) Center of Expertise drives enhancements and efficiencies in the post-sale document management space within the Americas Operations across products to transform customer forms and service correspondence. This unique perspective enables us to standardize the design and voice of our communications so that customers have a consistent experience with MetLife, no matter which product they own. As a Center of Expertise SCC leads governing an integrated multi-channel customer communications experience with prioritization on e-channel, enabling speed to market and adaptability through efficient tools and processes and controlling costs and risks through active inventory, technology and vendor management, and driving adoption and adherence through integrated governance and practical tools, training and templates.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee small to medium technology projects and/or phases of projects of larger scope
• Effectively translate business needs into application software requirements
• Build and test documents within platform to meet business requirement
• Partner with SCC peers and business areas to identify opportunity to leverage digital technology and capabilities
• Influence the adoption and use of tools and technology that advance capabilities, maturity and achieving meaningful business impact
• Contribute to producing business cases and recommendations for tools and/or practices
• Effectively partners with IT, consultants, vendors, internal end users and business customers/leadership
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to enable timely and accurate proof-of-concepts and implementation projects
• Consult as a trusted advisor on projects and with SCC peers
• Conduct product and competitive research and analysis
• Ensure appropriate testing of tools prior to launch
• Generate and track metrics that measure the effectiveness of deployed tools
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
• 2-4 years of related work experience
• Project management skills
• Experience with digital technologies; HTML 5 & CCM (customer communication management)
• Proven experience with document management systems and capabilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
• Website design and/or SharePoint development experience
• Advanced analytical skills
• Exercises sound business judgment
• Multi-task oriented
• Well versed with Microsoft Office tools
• Strong problem-solving skills
