For new activity within BNP Paribas Securities Services in Poland which is an exciting, dynamic and growing operation centre in Warsaw we are looking for candidates who are willing to apply for the position of:
Project Management Officer / Test Manager
for Investment & Performance Reporting (IRP) Engineering Team
IRP Legacy Engineering Team, which is responsible for change management of process and current IT systems for IRP department, is looking forward to hire dedicated Business analyst who would like to contribute to our dynamic team.
Environment
The PMO/Test Manager will be a member of the IRP Engineering Team, which is in charge of delivering process and system changes required by IRP department. The team is based in three locations (Warsaw, Chennai and Paris) and is providing its services on global level. On daily basis the team is cooperating with global IT teams responsible for delivering changes to the banking systems.
Responsibilities:
• Gather and maintain knowledge on Team priorities following roadmap of the organization and emergency topics,
• In collaboration with the Team leaders and members plan tasks for the Team, in order to ensure a smooth delivery of IRP roadmap. Update the planning basing on reported work progress and external events,
• Monitor ongoing tasks and report their status in context of applicable milestones,
• Gather and validate work time reports,
• Generate statistics and KPIs for Engineering Team activities for budget / team capacity monitoring,
• Actively engage in constant planning and monitoring enhancement initiatives,
• Coordinate testing activities: assure completeness of test cases, review test planning, monitor defect solution on IT side, monitor and report on testing progress, communicate any risks or slippages,
• Initiate GO/NO GO decision, assure proper documentation and broadcasting of the decision,
• Ensure quality and consistency of test practices between different applications and sites.
Requirements:
• University in degree in Finance, Economics, Project Management or similar area,
• Experience in working in project-oriented environment,
• Knowledge of Project Management methodologies,
• Very good communication skills – both verbal and written,
• Strong autonomy and ability to plan own tasks and organize own working environment,
• Stress-resistance and ability to adapt to changing environment,
• Diligence and accuracy, also while working under time pressure,
• Fluency in English as working language,
• Knowledge of the financial industry – with focus on Securities sector,
• Additional assets:
◦ # Knowledge of HP Quality Centre application,
# Certification in project methodologies (PMI, Prince 2),
# Command of French.
