General Description and Essential Functions
The Loan Processor II provides support to the front line sales staff as it relates to consumer lending products. This role handles multiple loan files from a daily work queue with a focus on preparation of documents for consumer loans and/or post closing support for non real estate transactions.
• Prepare closing documents on non-real estate consumer loan products by validating key information within the system so all documents are accurate.
• Ability to prioritize and organize individual pipeline so service level agreements and closing dates are met.
• Image all loan documentation to our imaging system.
• Fund and disburse loan proceeds for new originations.
• Build relationships with retail staff and underwriters by partnering with them on new originations as well as working to enhance the process through branch alignments.
• Focus on continuous improvement within our systems, processes, and procedures to reduce risk to the bank and become more efficient which could lead to cost savings.
• Work independently from team and manager to process daily work.
Qualifications/Experience
• Two year degree or High School Diploma required.
• One year loan processing experience or relevent work experience required. If no previous work experience, four year degree required.
• Previous work experience in customer service or document processing preferred.
• Previous consumer banking experience preferred.
