Senior Consultant, CFO Advisory – Business Transformation

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Review, analyze and develop key financial management processes including: Order-to-Cash, Procure-to–Pay, Plan to Perform and Record-to-Report
• Demonstrate knowledge of accounting and finance best practices and experience participating in, or leading, transformation projects to help clients optimize various elements of their operations or accounting and finance function.
• Design and implement best-in-class reporting, compliance, KPIs, and related data analytics to achieve optimal results from strategic initiatives
• Provide clients and engagement teams with technically sound and grounded advice at various levels of complexity
• Leading day to day fieldwork, managing projects, client deliverables and expectations, including drafting client reports and presentations, as well as liaising with the Client throughout the engagement
• Perform various activities such as: Refining organizational design; Business process analysis and process mapping to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and control of transactional and decision support processes; consolidations and shortening the financial close; Implementing financial close and account reconciliation technology; Designing and implementing corporate performance management solutions – budgeting, planning and forecasting processes and technology; Optimization of finance and/or business operating model; and improving management and external reporting.
Requirements:
• BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Engineering related field required, MBA/CPA, a plus
◦ 3-6 years of practical work experience with a consulting firm in a professional services environment required
◦ Prior experience within accounting firms, investment banking or private equity firms, financial consulting, business advisory services, corporate finance and/or banking industry preferred
◦ Experience reviewing/preparing financial statements, disclosures and work papers, while ensuring financial records are in accordance with GAAP and/or IFRS standards, a plus
◦ Experience designing and implementing shared-services and outsourcing solutions, as well as change management, a plus
◦ Excitement around increasing knowledge through relevant trainings and experiences
◦ Knowledge around various planning, process and RPA technologies, a plus
◦ Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, Visio)
◦ Familiarity with various market leading ERP systems
◦ Ability to travel up to 75%
