Description
We are seeking a highly motivated strategic leader with a passion for continuous improvement and creating organizational efficiency to direct administrative, financial and operational activities for the Prudential Annuities Operations organization. This Chief of Staff position will support the head of Operations and the Operations leadership team in implementing the organization’s strategy, objectives, and key messaging. The successful candidate must be able to form strong relationships with leaders and represent the head of Operations across the organization. Their responsibilities will also include, but not be limited to:
• Accountability for the Service project portfolio
• Coordinating monthly and quarterly business review drafts and submissions
• Communication across Operations
• Finance and budget oversight
• Coordinating Talent, employee engagement and climate initiatives
• Leading a staff of project managers and analysts
• Ad hoc projects and initiatives impacting the Operations organization
The Chief of Staff will be responsible for building relationships across the business that will support him/her in achieving the work outlined above.

Qualifications
Key Skills Include:
• Proven ability to manage multiple objectives in different subject matters
• Ability to effectively work with and influence business partners
• Experience in managing the administrative aspects of the role
• Experience with developing executive communications
• Demonstrated project management experience and execution required
• Experience working in an Agile capacity is strongly preferred
• Experience leading in operations or customer service strongly preferred
• Self-directed, takes initiative, strong leadership skills, ability to collaborate and innovate
• Very strong attention to detail, time management skills and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and maintain positive working relationships
• Excellent Process/Project management discipline and skills
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
This role will report to the head of Operations and will be a member of the Operations leadership team.
