Description
PruBenefit Funding (PBF), a Prudential Group Insurance business, is an industry leader in the Corporate Owned and Bank Owed Life Insurance market (COLI/BOLI). PBF’s products are designed to assist corporations, banks or their trusts with funding of their non-qualified employee benefits program. PBF specializes in large and complex, institutional, private placement transactions.
The incumbent will be a member of PBF’s Investment Operations Team.
Position requires a broad knowledge of accounting practices and financial reporting procedures.
• The incumbent will be responsible for handling the more complex team assignments, including preparing and processing schedules and journal entries; preparing, reconciling, and distributing internal/external financial reports; and other tasks that are associated with maintaining ledger accounts and developing financial statements.
• The incumbent will also assist with ad-hoc requests for financial and other information from external business areas and other teams within PBF.
• The incumbent would also be responsible for assisting with the forecasting and execution of PBF client cash movements, including partnering with investment managers, the custodian bank, as well as with members of other PBF teams.
• The successful candidate will work independently on general assignments, but under the direction of senior staff on more complex projects and analyses.
• The candidate may work with both internal and external data sources to ensure accurate and complete reporting of financial data.
• This position does not have significant supervisory responsibility, however, it may require limited supervisory responsibility for providing functional advice or training to less experienced accounting associates.
• The position typically requires over three years of relevant experience.

• Supervisory skills/desire to lead.
• Undergraduate degree. Preferably in accounting, finance, business (or related field)
• Knowledge of PBF’s products (COLI/BOLI) and processes; is a plus but not required
• Familiarity with Prudential financial systems (Linx-GVUL, Linx-TOLI, Oracle, PARIS)
• Asset management industry experience a plus
