Prudential El Paso has a unique opportunity for an inventive and dynamic leader to execute the initiatives of a multi-faceted team within our Business Technology department. Our growing “BIZTECH” organization supports operations by relying on information technology to handle and optimize business processes. This individual will provide support and direction to a team of 10–12 professionals. The successful candidate will provide direction to staff to solve complex challenges. The role requires the selected individual to have excellent administrative skills and the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with business partners across the enterprise.
Team Lead will be accountable for performance management and ensure delivery of service to multiple business partners. Candidates who have demonstrated the ability to work in a cross functional environment are ideal. Strong organizational skills and the ability to honor commitments made are critical.
Desired candidates should have had experiences identifying gaps in processes and implementing operational improvements in a fast-paced environment while ensuring adherence to the organization’s existing policies and procedures. Establishing productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders is key to the overall success of selected applicant. Candidates who thrive in a demanding environment and demonstrate a strong sense of purpose would excel in this position.
Qualifications
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and high proficiency for solving complex problems
• College degree or equivalent experience in business services/technology (i.e. vendor governance, compliance, human resources, business information security preferred.)
• Experience coaching and driving strong results through others
• Create a collaborative environment to shape organizational culture
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with subordinates, peers, and senior leadership
• Ability to identify and implement process changes that align with business objectives
• Ability to utilize data and technology to identify trends to improve performance
• Advanced user of MS Office applications with a strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Sharp analytical skills with an ability to recognize and highlight key information.
• Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Multi-task, adapt, and shift priorities in a rapidly changing business environment.
• Experience working in a diverse, team environment managing competing priorities.
• Advanced user of MS Office applications with a strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
