Job Purpose (Job Summary):
Under general supervision, provides operational support for foreign exchange activity in mutual funds, global funds and privately managed accounts for Invesco. This includes account set-up, trade processing and settlements. Consults with supervisor while researching and resolving time critical and risk sensitive issues.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
• Ensures communication of FX trades to custodian and appropriate fund accounting agent. Verifies process for data integrity
• Affirms and confirms all trades utilizing various internal and external applications
• Liaise with brokers, custodians and internal departments to resolve any foreign exchange related inquiries and exceptions
• Monitors and resolves all trade fails
• Maintains and ensures foreign exchange set-up with approved counterparties
• Provides support to the collateral management team as needed
• Resolves compliance issues
• Maintains knowledge of on-going industry and regulatory changes and initiatives impacting the firm’s funds and clients
• Maintains and updates procedures as approved
• Adheres to standard archiving procedures
• Completes special projects to support the department as assigned
• Leverage the order management system with other downstream operating systems in support of currency spot and forward trading
Qualifications
Work Experience / Knowledge:
• Must have a working knowledge of the industry
• Knowledge of GTSS and CLS preferred
Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:
• Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals is required
• Must show the ability to establish priorities and concentrate on detailed information under pressure on a daily basis
• This includes the ability to handle time critical situations while meeting rigorous deadlines
• In addition, must have the ability to do mathematical calculations and analyze detailed numerical data
• Attention to detail is critical
• Must be adept in all Microsoft Office programs, with a special emphasis in Excel
• The ability to cooperate in a team environment is critical
• Must establish and maintain relationships with internal teams
• Strong problem solving skills
• Desire to learn new and complex financial instruments and processes
• Willingness to participate in the development and enhancement of processes and productivity
• Ability to actively participate in projects
• Customer focus with a keen interest in providing superb services to clients
Formal Education:
(minimum requirement to perform job duties)
• A Bachelor’s Degree and relevant business experience or a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience
License/Registration/Certification:(minimum requirement to perform job duties)

Working Conditions:
• Normal office environment with little exposure to noise, dust and temperatures
• Normally works a regular schedule of hours, however hours may vary depending upon the project, assignment or daily trade activity
• Hours will include US Holidays to cover foreign market activities
• Hours may occasionally include evening/weekends, due to special projects
