What will you contribute?
Reporting to the Head of Corporate and Syndicate Lending, the Principal Program Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of Large to moderately complex projects for a defined segment of strategic initiatives from project definition and intake to transition to full operational support.
Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Your deliverables as a Principal Program Manager will include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Leads the development of all global projects intake process for Corporate and Syndicated Lending including developing scope, schedule and cost
• Defines the goals and objectives of specific projects and understands individual team member’s roles and responsibilities
• Manages the communications to project managers over multiple mid to large scale projects ensuring that they will complete on time and within budget and that the solution aligns with/meets the business objective
• Manages the financial goals and objectives of delivery, and provides solutions to meet those objectives.
• Manages the interaction to project managers to ensure daily/weekly project team assignments and monitors progress against the work plan to assure that objectives are met within the prescribed time, cost, and quality measures.
• Identification and impact analysis of potential product changes and facilitation of change control board and enhancement review committees and Product Delivery Management to approve or disapprove said changes.
• Facilitates key financial objectives of Product Management, R&D, Global Services and Partner teams by forecasting requirements; understanding a project budgets; initiating corrective actions
• Continual identification, qualification and tracking of risks, defining mitigation and contingency plans, assigning appropriate resources, and constantly communicating status for all delivery projects.
• Responsible for identification of resource requirements needed from Product Management and R&D teams and proper communication of those requirements in a timely manner to ensure the project is properly staffed with the skilled resources required.
• Responsible for identifying internal and external stakeholders, understanding their communication requirements and fulfilling those requirements.
• Responsible for managing the escalation processes with all projects in the portfolio, and assisting with the resolution of all escalations.
• Serve as the primary interface to Product Management, R&D, Global Services and Partners to ensure objectives and customer-focused requirements are defined and aligned with company directions.
• Keeps up-to-date and educated in skills related to project management, and process management.
• Oversight to ensuring the project teams utilizes IT defined tools and standards, processes and procedures
Required Experience:
• 5 years’ experience in program and/or process management
• 15 years’ experience leading technical and non-technical resources.
• Experience in developing relationships with delivery partners internal and external, especially vendors.
• Experience in loan servicing technology implementations.
• Experience assisting project management teams with identification of action items, tasks and activities and tracking progress
• Experience at defining, implementing and continually improving standards, processes and procedures utilizing industry best practice (PMI, CMMI, etc.)
