Job Description:
Under general supervision, the Recruiting Assistant will provide administrative support to the Recruiting Department.
Essential Job Duties:
• Prepares memoranda, letters, proposals, charts, tables and other documents using various software packages. Provides support through copying, faxing, and mailing as requested by assigned staff.
• Coordinate with assigned staff or department; creating moderately complex correspondence, spreadsheets and visual presentations for projects.
• Post approved positions using internal and external resources (including Twitter and Facebook).
• Create job offer approval packets for selected candidates.
• Prepare Employment, Promotion and Transfer Offer Letters.
• Responsible for initiating, reviewing and following up on background reports
• Track Company Employee Referral Program.
• Conduct New Hire Orientation.
• Maintain applicant tracking system/database.
• Create and maintain interview files for compliance purposes.
• Generate interview turndown letters for individuals not selected.
• Work with other human resources team members to ensure a smooth on-boarding process.
• May perform other duties as assigned
Skills, Education and Experience:
• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 1 year related work experience
• Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
• Must be able to handle working in a fast-paced, high energy environment
• Must be comfortable working with a variety of people and able to meet deadlines
• Strong negotiation and organizational skills
• Proficient of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
