JOB SUMMARY
The Team Leader-Senior Portfolio Manager position will leverage capital market knowledge and experience along with the daily interaction with other portfolio managers and analysts to manage the investment portfolios of the largest and most complex agency and fiduciary accounts of Associated Trust Company, N.A. ("ATC") in a risk controlled manner. The Team Leader-Senior Portfolio Manager individually oversees assets under management in excess of $200,000,000 generating fees in excess of $1,500,000. The Team Leader-Senior Portfolio Manager also leads the Regional team that is responsible for over $1,000,000,000 in assets under management and $6,000,000 in revenues in over 1,000 accounts. The Team Leader-Senior Portfolio Manager will lead the Regional Portfolio Management Team in supporting the Regional sales goal. The Team Leader-Senior Portfolio will also be responsible for the supervision of one or more portfolio managers in serving these functions and meeting these objectives.

Operates in full compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as applicable regulations and laws, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering requirements. Responsible to report any procedure or process that doesn’t meet regulatory requirements including fraud, whether suspected or confirmed, to management. This reporting can be done directly to any member of management, including Human Resources or Corporate Security, or can be reported through Associated’s anonymous Ethics Hotline.
KEY RESULT AREAS
Develop investment strategy/asset allocation for existing and prospective clients with the highest complexity of circumstances
Manage investment portfolios to meet clients’ risk/return objectives with the highest complexity of circumstances
Lead Regional PM team in new business solicitation process including preparation of sales presentation materials, completion of requests for proposal, and sales presentations to prospective clients
Maintain and document portfolio compliance with ATC polices for assigned accounts
Lead and/or serve on internal committees that set policy and review compliance
Relative performance of managed accounts and/or models
Provide timely, informative communication to clients on portfolio results and strategy in-person, via phone, or other preferred communication.
Develop and maintain relationships with business partners across the bank, building mutual understanding of value propositions and business line initiatives.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
Through regular, direct interaction with clients, the Team Leader-Senior Portfolio Manager develops and maintains appropriate investment strategy based on client circumstances, objectives, and risk tolerance. Directly and indirectly responsible for our most complex, visible relationships that may involve multi-generational family relationships, outside consultants, and/or foundation or endowment boards of directors. The Team Leader-Senior Portfolio Manager is also responsible for the effective communication of past portfolio results and current/future portfolio strategy with a broad spectrum of clients.
•The Team Leader-Senior Portfolio Manager is also responsible for directing components of the ongoing management and administration of the investment function through leadership of or membership in teams involved in one or more of the following: Development and administration of compliance policies and procedures; Providing individual security research to the group; Providing external manager/fund research to the group; Providing macro research and asset allocation analysis to the group; Managing model portfolios and/or Research and development of new investment processes/products.
Manage a Regional Portfolio Management team.
The incumbent executes strategy and monitors portfolios for his/her team within the framework established by the Chief Investment Officer (“CIO”) in adherence to the compliance policies and procedures of ATC.
