The program will include two one year rotations across groups including Strategy, Business Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis, Treasury, Capital Management, and Accounting. Depending on the rotation, the FAR Analyst will be an active member of a specific finance organization involved in both ad-hoc projects as well as monthly deliverables. This role will have a high level of visibility and exposure to both Finance and Business Executive Management. Key responsibilities will vary depending on the rotation, but these are some potential examples.
Duties:

• Develop and implement strategies to best utilize the financial information systems available to provide the most accurate, timely and reliable sources for financial reporting and analysis
• Work cross-functionally to ensure organizational alignment of key recommendations
Expectations of the FAR Analyst in all rotations are consistent:
• The analyst will be expected to exercise discretion and independent judgment in all aspects of the role. This will include building out options and recommendations to drive key business and financial decisions for significant items for their group leadership. These recommendations will have a significant impact on Santander’s performance and financials and can include changes to policies and procedures
• If it is a project based role, these will be major assignments to support Santander’s strategic execution and they will consult with management groups both within finance and in the businesses they support
• If their rotation group’s focus is on planning long or short term business objectives, they will be active participants in the planning process
• They will deliver recommendations through various communication means (email, meetings, presentation), and the Analyst will be expected to defend their recommendations with effective business cases
At Santander, we value and respect differences in our workforce and strive to increase the diversity of our teams. We encourage everyone to apply.
