The Field Support Specialist (FSR) will be a field based position supporting CIS Clients and internal partners to drive revenue through ongoing project and account management. The role of the FSR is to manage many tasks that are important to client loyalty, yet take time away from Account Executive’s (AE) selling. This position will positively impact client satisfaction by focusing on internal tasks that the Account Executives have been completing today which compete with selling/revenue, hunting, and deepening existing relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage test subcodes, volume tracking, file research and coordinating internal resources to ensure successful project completion
• Lead in initiating and obtaining key agreements to close deals, facilitates activities with sales support and membership to secure client access, provides training if/when needed, leads migrating changes to current set ups as needed and is the point person to resolve billing and invoice questions and issues
• Provide first level support to client questions and enhance existing relationships by focusing on service needs, research, and special projects
• Engage the necessary internal teams to complete the activities to client satisfaction ensuring that the AE’s are aware of the requirements and activities, while the AE’s focus on more revenue generating activities
• The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, confident, possess critical thinking and research skills, have a strong work ethic with a high level of business maturity
• Good attention to detail and strong organizational skills are critical
• Strong communication skills both oral and written are required along with the ability to work across multiple teams
• Minimum of 2 years in an equivalent sales support role is required
• Bachelor’s degree is also preferred
