Job Purpose:
This position is responsible for serving as a technical business expert with primary accountability to support product management, ensure business process compliance with state, federal and corporate regulations. This role also serves as a resource on projects and initiatives involving the end to end business.
Job Responsibilities:

• Receive notifications regarding new or revised regulations and take action to implement policies, procedures, processes and forms to support the business line.
• Communicate and support changes to field, internal staff and other affected areas.
• Participate in periodic audits and maintain document of compliance processes.
• Performs compliance reviews, enterprise assessments and policy/procedure reviews as directed.
• Actively identify risks to the business, products, work and associates.
• Participates in the preparation of regulatory filings and/or forms in order to meet business needs and comply with the substance and language requirements of regulatory authorities in all states.
• Review compliance issues to identify solutions, address root causes and resolve problems.

Job Requirements:
List of general education, background and experience, knowledge, skills and abilities typically required to effectively perform the responsibilities of the job. Also include any required licenses and/or designations.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance or related field or an equivalent trade-off of related professional work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in insurance, business or government regulations/compliance work.
• Ability to understand regulations and compliance issues and apply understanding to effect sound design of sound procedures.
• FINRA Securities Industry Essentials Examination, Series 6 and Series 26 Registrations and life/health and annuity licenses required
• Strong problem solving, decision making and multi-tasking abilities.
• Appetite to learn, general business acumen.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
