Job Title: Production Support Senior Specialist
• Primary Responsibilities:
• Provides support & guidance to the frontline Service operation on a variety of processes/systems while minimizing business interruptions.
• Collaborates with third party partners to identify root cause to system issues and short term/long term solutions.
• Evaluates & resolves daily system & policy specific production issues with a concentration on registered products.
• Initiates and influences processing improvements/best practices with both Service & Tech.
• Reviews & monitors many various production/variance reports to address discrepancies, potential issues and trends.
• Performs health checks (within/outside core business hours) upon implementation of multiple system releases.
• Creates, reviews, and validates multiple system change requirements.
• Participates in system recovery initiatives
• Knowledge of product features & procedures
• Works with Change Management to communicate system issue changes.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer, or Business Concentration preferred, or equivalent years of related experience
• 3 – 5 years of relevant experience required
• FINRA Series 6preferred
• Strong system processing knowledge on Variable/Fixed Cyberlife.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office package; PowerPoint; Excel and Word.
• Technical Expertise: Knowledge of the Client system and its link to other NYL systems admin systems & sub-systems (DMS, AWF; MyNYL; Service Central etc.) Must possess a strong understanding how systems are used by the frontline service operation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
