Position Summary:
The individual serves as team member for the CRE projects JLL is responsible for the management of individual multi-disciplined projects with ultimate responsibility for seeing the projects through from inception to closeout. Provide superior client service. Meet assigned financial targets.
Essential Functions:
• Support project teams on mid-sized corporate real estate projects and assignments.
• Proactively manage project-related issues on account or assignment.
• Develop scope and schedule for assigned projects.
• Proactively identify, report, and mitigate all project risk issues
• Conduct and document all weekly meetings.
• Coordinate, track and maintain accurate and consistent electronic files and documentation.
• Coordinate activities of sub-contractors and relocation of technical functions.
• Interact and negotiate with contractors and subcontractors.
• Prepare/update project status reports, process purchase orders and invoices, update tracking reports and maintain files for due diligence and financials.
• Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost effective manner.
• Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of all Client and/or JLL PDS technology as required for assigned projects.
• Comply with all Jones Lang LaSalle policies and procedures, including but not limited to ethics and business practice.
• Willingness to travel (TBD)
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA):
• Ability to prepare and track budgets; forecast project costs.
• Understanding of technical requirements for tenant improvements and business relocation
• Familiarity with architectural drawings and furniture and space planning concepts required
• Flexibility with work hours and travel as needed
• 3-5 years of practical experience in a project management, construction, and related fields.
• Experience in construction management or real estate preferred
• Highly organized with strong analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with manager level external and internal clients
• Organizational skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to multi-task and work both in a team and independently
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Projects.
• Experience and knowledge of PM process
Infrastructure Supervisory Responsibilities:
Reports to: Senior Project Manager / Team Lead.
Minimum Required Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience related to all aspects of Design / Construction / Project Management.
• Knowledge of basic business practices
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and problem solving ability
• Strong verbal / written communication and presentation skills
• Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service
• Demonstrated skills in all Microsoft Office Suite applications (includes MS Project & MS Access) as well as Adobe Acrobat
