Job Description
Everest Insurance, a member of the Everest Re Group, Ltd., has an opportunity available for an Administrative Assistant at our Liberty Corner, New Jersey headquarters.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Managing the calendar and meeting schedule for the Chief Claims Officer.
• Daily administrative support for the Chief Claims Officer and Vice Presidents of the Everest Insurance Claims Department.
• Work directly with corporate travel vendor to assist Chief Claims Officer with travel arrangements.
• Assist in preparing expense reports and auditing oversight of all departmental travel expenses.
• Management of confidential information and personnel data related to HR issues and employee appraisals and compensation as well as organization and processing of same.
• Track and manage compensation budget, headcount movement, and the staffing requisition approval process.
• Coordination and scheduling of department training and staff meetings.
• PowerPoint support, design and expertise for all department presentations and training materials.
• Coordinate with HR and management team to schedule interviews for prospective candidates.
• Provide back-up administrative and scheduling support to Everest Insurance executive team.
• Provide back up support for on-boarding of new hires which includes working closely with internal teams ensuring timely and proper system access to new employees.
Work Experience and Qualifications:
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience working in an administrative function in a corporate environment
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and an energetic and enthusiastic attitude;
• Ability to work well in a professional, team-oriented environment
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook)
• Ability to exercise discretion and handle confidential information appropriately.
