The Worksite Employee Benefits Representative is responsible for selling worksite products through a broker channel to small and mid-size companies.
Main Accountabilities
• Cold calling brokers and agencies. You will also be required to establish and maintain mutually beneficial relationships
• Develop a thorough understanding of our products and the benefits each one offers
• Educate brokers, agents and customers on a regular basis
• Conduct product presentations and training sessions
• You will get an opportunity to work on quotes that will generate our best selling opportunities
• Partner with our brokers and engage in a consultative partnership not only to help grow our business but their businesses as well
• Teaming up with administrative staff to effectively address account management issues
• Meet and/or exceed activity goals as it relates to number of new clients, quote activity, broker relationships, and sold premium
Qualifications
• 4+years of selling worksite/supplemental/voluntary insurance products (Critical Illness, Cancer & Accident) through the broker distribution channel
• Active Life and Health License or must obtain within the first 6 months of hire date
• Must have existing broker relationships and a proven track record in sales, including Business to Business selling
• College degree preferred
• Must be a relationship builder, achievement-oriented, ambitious and self-motivated
