As the community's go to accountant here is what you will be doing:
The Accountant is responsible for working with the Area Director of Finance and the accounting team on processing bank deposits, accounts payable requests, inventory scheduling, billing assistance, fixed asset tracking and forecasting; will also assist with resident questions.
A few other details about the role:
Complete weekly forecast requests as directed
Complete weekly payroll reports to be included in the communities financial forecast
Responsible for processing bank deposits
Responsible for processing AP requests
Responsible for determining and maintaining the adequate accruals
Responsible for fixed asset maintenance, and working with the home office to reconcile the fixed assets monthly
Responsible for the maintenance of the inventory scheduling and quarterly departmental inventories
Assist the area director of finance and home office with monthly reports
Learn and become proficient with SOS, Cognos, Concur, Kronos and other systems as implemented
Assist with resident questions as delegated
Comply with applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follows all company policies and procedures
Obtain knowledge and demonstrate the principles of the community's directed care and successful aging philosophies and their inherent core values of commitment, respect, compassion, dedication, team work and quality. Team member will support, actively participate and act in accordance with the principles of the community's service culture and be familiar with and fluent in the language and service pillars of the community.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings.
Salary range is $55-65,000 +health benefits, retirement plan, PTO, sick time, flex days, short and long term life insurance, and other perks.
