We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to support the Markets Corporate Solutions team in our office in Chicago, IL. The analyst will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Core Responsibilities:
• Produce financial models and other analyses for transactions of varying complexity to support the negotiation of lease and ownership teams with third parties.
• Manage client reporting including but not limited to weekly transaction reports, annual completed project reports, and ad hoc reporting (as required).
• Complete an annual portfolio opportunity assessment evaluating opportunities to take advantage of options/rights, or changing market conditions and consolidation opportunities.
• Develop and refine internal transaction guidelines and foster consistent service delivery.
• Manage real estate transactions at both the local and national level.
• Support strategic planning activities by providing financial analysis, financial reporting, strategy development, tactical implementation and special projects as assigned in order to support the decision making by the clients and the internal team.
• Collaborate with research & marketing team(s) on business development opportunities.
• Provide relevant market information to clients including but not limited to lease comparables, competitive set analyses, and research materials.
• Understand JLL platform and learn best practices by attending firm-wide market meetings.
• Manage all research requests from existing clients.
• Enable senior team members to cultivate new clients.
Professional qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Economics, or Finance Majors preferred.
• 0-2 years of relevant work experience.
• Licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Illinois
• Demonstrates an advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Software (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Strong financial/analytical skills with proven capabilities in financial modeling.
• Ability to establish trust, credibility, and rapport with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated Project Management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to speak and write clearly and concisely, get messages across that have the desired effect.
• Adaptability – Maintain effectiveness in varying environments, tasks and responsibilities, or with various types of people.
• Planning and Organizing – establish course of action to accomplish goals and evaluates results, develops schedules and task/people assignments, can orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish goals, uses resources effectively and efficiently.

• Attention to detail – is thorough in accomplishing a task with concern for all the areas involved, no matter how small, will not overlook what needs to be done and can be depended on to do each task accurately and completely.
