Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Review sales orders, purchase orders, contracts and maintain internal sales order notes to ensure appropriate revenue recognition under US GAAP (ASC 605 & 606 when adopted).
• Participate in monthly and quarterly close process including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations for revenue, deferred revenue and receivables
• Assist in the audit/review process with the company’s internal and external auditors.
• Perform analysis of monthly customer revenue fluctuations to confirm accuracy and completeness.
• Communicate with various internal groups to gather relevant information for decision making (Sales, Professional Services, Division Finance, Billing and Collections).
• Gather data and prepare related schedules for the Company’s quarterly reviews, annual audits, and SEC filings.
• Update and strengthen internal controls and procedures.
• Assist the team in automating manual processes.
• Perform special projects or duties as required within the finance department.

• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with others
• Ability to complete multiple priorities under tight deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Proficient in Excel
Education
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
Experience
• 5-8 years in a medium to large company with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in revenue accounting
• Experience with Oracle ERP and Hyperion Financial Management preferred
