HOURS: (Shifts will vary and are subject to schedule needs/40 plus hours per week)
Prosperity Bank is seeking to fill the position of Training Specialist in Oklahoma City.
The Training Specialist serves as communicators of the bank. They combine personal experience, a personable touch, and high energy with average knowledge of banking industry trends, regulations, Prosperity’s products, policies, and procedures to develop engaging learning experiences for Prosperity Bank associates. Training is delivered primarily by webinar and during a merger/acquisition, in a classroom setting. The Training Specialist is responsible for gaining and maintaining knowledge of industry regulations, ethics, sales approaches, bank products and services, bank policies and procedures, front-line and support associate responsibilities. This position may include travel away from your home banking center for extended periods and assist in acquisition training on-site. Additional responsibilities will include serving as a back-up instructor for webinars; Assist with miscellaneous projects, as needed and other duties as assigned. Required Skills:
Must be detailed oriented with excellent written/verbal communication skills. Able to draw information from people, communicate knowledgeably and engagingly with audiences.
Have excellent presentation and performance skills. Understand how to use the voice effectively for telephone.
Creative and innovative in approach to learning and learning methods. Able to generate original ideas, and to think creatively about how to communicate them to audiences.
Be able to present while operating system applications and coordinating simultaneous technical activities.
Be able to learn how to use a variety of computer applications. Proficient in Microsoft Office software- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Be able to work calmly and effectively under pressure, react quickly, and meet tight deadlines.
Practiced in videography and graphic design is a plus.
Highly collaborative.
Strong research skills.
Well organized.
Ability to work effectively and independently with little supervision.
Required Experience:
MUST HAVE PRIOR BANKING EXPERIENCE
