We have an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned operations leader to be responsible for oversight and leadership of a staff of administration, implementation, data and customer service department leaders. In addition, will be responsible for meeting or exceeding profitability goals of operational departments, solving problems and fostering positive relationships with brokers, partners, clients and participants, driving operational strategic planning, and ongoing training and development of the operations departments. This position is part of the executive leadership team and has a high level of knowledge in all company functions and services supported by the departments. The position contributes to excellent customer service and teamwork by interacting with internal team members, leadership, and other external contacts as needed through meetings, webinars, phone calls and email.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and lead all operations functions
• Foster friendly, courteous, and professional relationships with brokers, partners, clients, and participants by means of email, telephone and personal contact
• Effectively lead a department leadership team
• Support personal and professional development for the team
• Effectively balance workloads with the operations leadership team
• Establish controls to carry out current practices and procedures for the department and across the company to ensure consistency
• Ensure service levels are being met and that all issues, escalated or otherwise are being resolved by troubleshooting various Chard Snyder service offerings and handling sensitive issues
• Manage service delivery with ongoing review for efficiencies and to scale and support growth
• Design and implement improved processes for the department including enhancements
• Collaborate as executive leadership team member, and participate in development of the company’s plans and programs as a strategic partner
• Support sales process with strategic input for and participation in key presentations to prospect or current clients, partners and advisors
• Collaborate on identification and exploration of new or company service opportunities, and assist as needed with their development
• Foster, develop and maintain interdepartmental relationships
• Maintain confidentiality and workspace security
• Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by Ascensus to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to Ascensus or our clients.

Education & Experience
• The position may require up to 25% travel. At times, travel is outside the local area and overnight.
• Bachelor’s Degree in operations, management or related field, or equivalent experience
• Ten to fifteen years prior work experience in the operational function in a professional services business office environment
• Proficient knowledge of and experience with employee benefits plans, insurance plans and related administration
• Ability to read workplace rules and procedures, speak with poise and confidence, using correct English
• Technical aptitude, and ability and proficiency with Microsoft Office, and computer applications
• Excellent communication and organization skills
Preferred Education and Experience
• Master’s Degree in operations, management or related field, or equivalent experience
• Healthcare benefits industry experience preferred
• Industry certifications preferred
