Job Purpose (Job Summary):
ETF Portfolio Operations Specialist will be responsible for the daily basket process that is specific to an Exchange Traded Fund. The candidate will also act as a day to day support for Portfolio Managers and Capital Markets, help in Board reporting and daily oversight of fund issues. The candidate will also establish and maintain relationship within the various departments of Invesco to maintain the proper flow of information for basket processing, portfolio manager support, trade support, corporate actions and pricing. Maintain relationships with various vendors for timely and accurate dissemination of daily reporting. Candidate will also maintain and develop metric reporting. This position will work closely with Portfolio Administration, Legal, Compliance and Management and is structured as a team based group.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
• Learn the daily basket process, including, setup, dissemination and reconciliation.
• Supports new Product launches and initiatives. Forecasts security issues, country issues and builds operational flow models based on this information.
• Creates and maintains board material for management.
• Assists in the calculation of fund distributions.
• Provides daily reporting to Portfolio Managers. Oversees cash management and utilization.
• Interpret corporate actions and applies information on a Trade date -1 basis.
• Work to continue our efforts to automate and integrate tasks.
• Fund oversight utilizing exception reporting.
• Leverages internal reporting for issue resolution and interpretation.
• Work closely with accounting, custody and admin teams as well as other vendors.
• Maintains and develops relevant metric reporting for management.
Qualifications
Work Experience / Knowledge:
• One or more years of applicable industry experience preferred.
Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:
• Ability to rapidly learn the ETF industry.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Must be able to multi task different initiatives at once, take direction well, and strong follow through skills needed.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• General knowledge of markets.
Formal Education:(minimum requirement to perform job duties)
• A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
