Solution Tools is a department in our Client Strategies Group division. The Risk and Controls team is one of three teams in the Solutions Tools Department with responsibility for identifying, assessing and planning resolution for risks associated with Solutions Tools systems as well as managing implementation efforts including quality assurance functions.
• Participate in department systems development through requirements definition and quality assurance including evaluation for enhancement or efficiencies and end-user verification testing.
• Lead bundle release management process for the department around planned implementations including planning and reporting.
• Participate in project based risk assessments for projects/implementation associated with portfolio management and wealth planning related systems through the development lifecycle.
• Assist with aspects of validation testing for client and branch facing tools providing assurance around digital investment advice systems and validation of results.
• Participate with cross-divisional risk representatives in aligning risk framework to identify and evaluate current and emerging risks as it impacts the division and firm.
• Contribute to risk management reporting to communicate Solutions Tool's associated risks and profile internal and external of the department.
• Assist on development and design of key system controls to keep the firm compliant with internal policies and changes in the regulatory environment.

Position Requirements
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Information Systems
• Series 7 and 63/66 required within 6 months of hire
Preferred:
• 1-2 years of financial industry experience preferred
• Experience in risk management, project management, financial planning and/or financial systems/software a plus
• MBA or progress towards CFP/CFA a plus
