Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis-1
Overview
• The Global Business Shared Services Center (GBSC) FP&A team will support the Finance organization with management reporting, budgeting and forecasting and business analytics.
• This position will support FP&A centralization efforts as a change agent to standardize and improve Finance processes.
• Develop Partnerships with local Finance teams while maintaining high performance customer service delivery model.
• Responsible for budgeting and forecasting as well as preparing and analyzing internal and external financial reports.
• Activities include monitoring the organization's expenses while considering internal performance drivers along with macro-economic factors.

Role
• Supports a specific targeted area with financial and budget related needs; conducts financial analysis for group/business unit leadership
• Build, maintain, and update standardized monthly financial reporting specific that will help drive and support the business, inclusive of business metrics/KPIs
• Prepare standard analytics and reporting on firm scheduled deadlines
• Understanding of industry drivers which may impact Mastercard’s top line business in the division and its internal business processes which drive costs.
• Create opportunities for automation and more efficient methods of creation and delivery
• Works closely with Project Management team on integration of FP&A services
All About You
• Demonstrates the ability to build internal and external business partnerships; begins to develop key relationships to understand the needs and objectives of stakeholders
• Experience reviewing and analyzing financial and operational modeling to support moderate-to-complex projects
• Experienced with financial systems and applications (e.g., Hyperion, Oracle)
• Experience resolving basic issues in a timely and efficient manner, begins to gain exposure to the resolution of complex issues
• Results driven/Change Agent
• Strong Communication Skills with Customer Service Mindset
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
• Proven skills in process improvement (Green Belt a plus)
• Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Excel)
• Tableau and Alteryx a plus
• University degree in Economics or Finance; MBA preferred
• Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment with attention to deadline constraints
