New York Life Group Membership division is looking for a data strategist to help oversee our web technologies including where data will be stored, consumed, integrated and managed. The candidate will know how to extract meaning from and interpret data from metrics across various web and database assets. This technically skilled professional with solid business acumen will also focus on strategies to attract prospects, generate leads, and inform sales, transforming data into clear presentations and explaining the story behind the data. New York Life is looking for the right person to help our digital team with audience targeting, segmentation and behavioral analysis as well as having hands-on experience developing test and learn plans that are data-driven. With a focus on digital properties, analysis will reach across the full user experience to integrate trends and behaviors from client marketing assets through to New York Life processes such as underwriting and claims.
Responsibilities:
• Identify and document business requirements to ensure proper tracking of all web assets and experiences.
• Deliver insight and understanding of user behaviors to improve marketing effectiveness.
• Operationalize insights through development of variety of reports and automation processes.
• Help lead efforts to implement and manage Adobe platform solutions including but not limited to Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, Adobe Campaign and Adobe Target.
• Liaison with consultants and internal teams to help scope and implement solutions for online capabilities and efficiencies, including site architecture, SEO/SEM and mobile optimization.
• Ongoing management of Adobe Launch and dynamic tagging.
• Set objectives to help drive improvements to web traffic, conversion, engagement, and retention.
• Assist with proforma outlining anticipated and realized results from media purchases, campaign performance and testing initiatives, demonstrating an understanding of client campaign strategies and user behaviors.
Qualifications:
• Familiarity with web technologies including .html, javascript, Adobe Marketing Cloud.
• Deep understanding of metrics implementations and tools surrounding email broadcasting, paid search, paid social and retargeting networks.
• Experience with creation of Ad hoc reports and ability to transform the results into clear, meaningful statements and/or visuals.
• Advanced Excel user, including experience using pivot tables, charts, and v-lookups.
• 5-7 years related work experience in online B2B, B2C environments. Strong knowledge of online marketing strategies.
• Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to clearly relay ideas and complex concepts.
• Working knowledge of various marketing and analytics software including email systems, CRM systems, SQL and database systems.
