Job Description
Job Summary:
Supervises the day-to-day department production activities which include cross training, control and audit activities, production, and quality control.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Works with management to implement changes or initiatives to be addressed with the operations team.
• Coordinates staffing and scheduling for all team members to ensure appropriate coverage.
• Assists team leads with training new operations team members.
• Monitors team members' monthly production and errors related to goals
• Ensures the quality and service of the operations area. Understands the implications of decisions made, and who or what may be affected by the decisions.
• Assists team during peak times with daily tasks and responsibilities.
• Continuously looks for opportunities for the improvement of processes to enhance time as well as determining the possibility of reducing redundant or repetitive tasks
• Supervises the day-to-day activities of the Operations area. Provides leadership, direction and growth opportunities to members of the department, performing those responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable laws. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning or directing work, appraising performance, disciplining team members and resolving problems. Works with the Human Resources Department to resolve more complex team member-related issues.
• Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
• Performs other related duties as required.
